About Me

Hi, I’m Jen! I’m so happy you’re here! I grew up and still live in a small beach town in sunny California. It’s a gem of a town and I’m grateful to be surrounded by friends and family.

Growing up I wanted to be a doctor, so I went to UCSB and graduated with my degree in Biological Sciences. I believed healing others was one of the most profound and noblist of all professions and I wouldn’t mind dedicating my life to it. I never used my degree. Instead I started a family and went on to start my career at a non-profit.

I’m still very into health and always will be. After starting my career I noticed my health took a back burner and I made the decision to compete in a fitness competition.

This one decision taught me the most about myself. I used to jump on every diet bandwagon and in general eat too little. I worked with a coach who specialized in nutrition and she taught me how to eat a clean diet and actually listen to my body. Dedicating a year of my life to eating a regimed whole-foods diet and focusing on macros was eye opening. You really are what you eat. I’m excited to share all that i’ve learned centered around health and fitness which also includes getting rid of the guilt that can sometimes come from food.

I currently host a short-term rental property which has supplemented my income and provided me a more balanced way of living.

Hosting pulls together all the the elements of what brings me joy. Design, hosting, decor, and finding high-end furniture for less! I’m thrilled to tell you all about my tips and tricks to hosting if you’d like to get started too.
